Meet Dobby, the glowing little water goblin with permanent curiosity and the stealth skills of a floating marshmallow.
Dobby is a stunning Axanthic Albino Axolotl with soft pale colouring, unique genetics, and an incredible cranial glow under UV lighting. His glowing UV feature gives him a magical appearance that makes him a standout addition to any freshwater axolotl aquarium or display tank.
At approximately 14–15cm in length, Dobby is still growing and already packed with personality. Currently unsexed, this curious little axolotl spends most of the day exploring the tank, investigating absolutely everything, and somehow appearing directly at the front glass the moment food is mentioned anywhere within the house.
The Axanthic Albino combination creates a rare and eye-catching appearance highly sought after by axolotl enthusiasts and collectors. Under standard lighting Dobby looks adorable, but under UV light the glowing cranial feature adds a whole extra level of aquatic wizard energy.

Axolotl Sales & Care Information
All of our axolotls are photographed individually, so the little lotl you see in the listing is the exact one you’ll receive. Each one is unique, even if some may look similar.
We take photos in natural lighting to show their colours as accurately as possible. Colours can still vary slightly depending on lighting and screens. We mainly use our phones for photography, but if you’d like extra photos or videos, we’re always happy to send more.
Every axolotl comes with transition feed and detailed care information sheets to help them settle in comfortably.
We also offer lifetime support. Whether you’re brand new to axolotls or have kept them for years, we’re here to help you give your lotl the best life possible.
Before finalising a sale, we’ll ask a few questions about your setup. We won’t sell an axolotl if your tank is uncycled or incorrectly cycled. This is purely for the safety of the animal, as an uncycled tank can:
Kill an axolotl within a few days, or
Cause slow organ failure over 3–12 months.
It’s also important to use axolotl‑safe products. Most fish products aren’t suitable. If axolotl‑specific items aren’t available in your area, turtle products are usually the next safest option.
We’re more than happy to help you cycle your tank, choose safe products, and answer any questions you may have — just reach out anytime.
If you fall in love with a particular axolotl but your tank isn’t quite ready, you’re welcome to purchase and reserve that lotl. We can hold them for you until your setup is safe. Holding fee: $5.00 per week, invoiced and paid before dispatch.

All live axolotls are shipped on Mondays (weather and public holidays permitting).
