Meet Eloise, the sparkling copper queen with movie-star looks and the confidence of someone who knows the tank revolves entirely around her.
Eloise is a stunning Copper Axolotl with high iridophores, creating a beautiful shiny spotted appearance that glimmers under aquarium lighting. Her rich copper colouring combined with reflective speckled patterns gives her a striking look that stands out beautifully in freshwater axolotl aquariums and planted display tanks.
At approximately 24cm in length, Eloise is a large, healthy axolotl with loads of personality and presence. She currently appears to be female, although this cannot be guaranteed with complete certainty at this stage.
Eloise spends her days gracefully floating through plants like an underwater celebrity, casually judging your aquascaping decisions, and instantly transforming into a food-detecting missile the moment pellets appear anywhere near the aquarium.
Perfect for axolotl enthusiasts, collectors, and freshwater aquarium keepers looking for a visually striking display axolotl with unique colouring, impressive size, and entertaining behaviour.

Axolotl Sales & Care Information
All of our axolotls are photographed individually, so the little lotl you see in the listing is the exact one you’ll receive. Each one is unique, even if some may look similar.
We take photos in natural lighting to show their colours as accurately as possible. Colours can still vary slightly depending on lighting and screens. We mainly use our phones for photography, but if you’d like extra photos or videos, we’re always happy to send more.
Every axolotl comes with transition feed and detailed care information sheets to help them settle in comfortably.
We also offer lifetime support. Whether you’re brand new to axolotls or have kept them for years, we’re here to help you give your lotl the best life possible.
Before finalising a sale, we’ll ask a few questions about your setup. We won’t sell an axolotl if your tank is uncycled or incorrectly cycled. This is purely for the safety of the animal, as an uncycled tank can
Kill an axolotl within a few days, or cause slow organ failure over 3–12 months.
It’s also important to use axolotl‑safe products. Most fish products aren’t suitable. If axolotl‑specific items aren’t available in your area, turtle products are usually the next safest option.
We’re more than happy to help you cycle your tank, choose safe products, and answer any questions you may have — just reach out anytime.
If you fall in love with a particular axolotl but your tank isn’t quite ready, you’re welcome to purchase and reserve that lotl. We can hold them for you until your setup is safe. Holding fee: $5.00 per week, invoiced and paid before dispatch.

All live axolotls are shipped on Mondays (weather and public holidays permitting).
