Once your tank is fully cycled and confirmed safe
Fast-Track Your Tank Cycle
Because this package includes established cycled filter media and a cycled bio filter, your aquarium may become fully cycled in as little as a few days to a couple of weeks.
Every aquarium is different, so cycling time cannot be guaranteed. Your tank should always be confirmed as fully cycled through water testing before an axolotl is introduced.
A fully cycled aquarium should show:
0 ppm ammonia
0 ppm nitrite
Detectable nitrate
Stable, suitable pH
7-Day Preparation Time
Please allow a minimum 7-day preparation period for this package.
This allows us to prepare the aquarium equipment, cycled filtration media and other components ready for your new set-up.
Your Axolotl
Once your aquarium has completed its cycle and the water parameters are confirmed as safe, you can choose from our available axolotls.
Your axolotl will only be introduced once the aquarium is properly cycled and ready for its new resident.
