Echo’s Personality
Echo is a smaller young axolotl with a distinctive look and plenty of individuality.
Their darker, muted colouring gives them a very different appearance from brighter Copper morphs and makes them especially interesting to watch develop.
Behaviour may change as Echo settles into a new environment, but our observations help you get to know the individual animal you are choosing.
What Makes Echo Special?
Echo’s standout feature is their Axanthic Copper colouring.
Axanthic axolotls have reduced or absent yellow pigmentation, which can create cooler, darker and more muted tones compared with standard Copper axolotls.
At approximately 17 cm and around 10 months old, Echo is still a younger individual and is currently unsexed.
Echo is listed as B Grade because of a physical or cosmetic imperfection that places them outside our standard grading.
B Grade does not make Echo any less deserving of a great home. It simply means they are a little different from our standard-grade animals.
Colour and appearance may vary slightly depending on aquarium lighting and screen settings.
