What Does B Grade Mean?
Brody is classified as B Grade because of minor cosmetic differences only.
B Grade does not mean sick, unhealthy or unsuitable as a companion animal. Brody is healthy and established. His grading simply acknowledges aesthetic differences compared with a standard-grade axolotl.
Brody has reviewed the grading system and maintains that he is personally an A+.
Shipping
Live axolotls are transported with Team Global Express under Little Lotl’s approved live-animal shipping arrangements.
Shipping for up to three axolotls is:
- $50 to eligible Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra metro destinations
- $70 to eligible Perth metro destinations
- $100 to eligible regional and non-metro destinations
Remote locations may require an individual quote or may not be suitable for live-animal transport.
Live axolotls are normally dispatched on Mondays, subject to weather, public holidays, transit times, carrier availability and animal-welfare considerations.
A $35 redelivery fee may apply if delivery cannot be completed.
Still cycling? Brody can be held by arrangement for $5 per week or part thereof.

Brody is a large adult with plenty of presence and a strong interest in anything that might involve food.
He is particularly talented at looking majestic while behaving as though dinner is several hours overdue.

Brody requires a spacious, fully cycled, cool-water aquarium with:
- Temperature: 14–18°C
- Ammonia: 0 ppm
- Nitrite: 0 ppm
- Nitrate: Ideally below 20 ppm
- pH: 7.2–8.2
- Clean, dechlorinated water
- Gentle filtration
- Smooth hides and axolotl-safe décor
- No gravel or small stones
- Generous floor space
- An appropriate axolotl diet
